We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to join our digital development team. The successful candidate will take part in all stages of the development life cycle including the implementation of new features and improvements as well as developing new websites. An appreciation of good design and layout combined with attention to detail and accuracy are critical to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
The successful candidate should have experience developing in C# using the MVC framework.
Main duties:
- Development on new and existing websites written and maintained in our bespoke ASP.NET CMS.
- Creating HTML and CSS from design visuals.
- Working closely with a team of web developers on both front and back end code.
- Cross browser compatibility and usability testing.
Essential Requirements:
- Commercial website development experience.
- Experience working with MVC frameworks
- Proficiency with HTML/ CSS
- Knowledge of JQuery
- Fluency in ASP.NET using C#
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Desirable:
- Experience using PHP and related technologies
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Subversion
- Experience with MSSQL Server and Stored Procedures
- Web services and APIs
- E-commerce integration
- Social media integration
- Knowledge of SEO techniques
The ideal candidate will have experience in the above areas and will have a flexible approach to work to suit the needs and challenging nature of our business
