Welcoming our new members of the Vivid team
We’re delighted to welcome Sally, our Temporary Office Manager/PA, to the team.
Sally’s role involved looking after admin tasks, overseeing projects and problem-solving. But not for long! Sally is in her third trimester of pregnancy and will soon be leaving our team to welcome her new baby boy to the world.
Sally says: “Vivid has a great group of staff, all friendly, creative, and hard-working. These are the kind of people you enjoy working with. I hope to help with any tasks while the team grows to meet the current demand.”
Sally runs marketing projects for other small businesses and loves to dance outside of work. However, she says: “Currently, all my spare time is going into making myself and home ready for a baby.”
An interesting fact about Sally is that she moved to Australia on her own. Whilst living there she secured an admin job in a printing company and ended up working with special effect artists at Odd Studio. They worked on Farscape, Star Wars and Wolverine.
With an admin background, we’re excited to welcome Sally to the team.
Next up is Callum. Ourcreative department expands as we welcome our new Creative Designer and Animator.
From brand development to print materials, his role involves being a generalist. He is our go-to person for anything animation or video related.
Callum started out as a Graphic Designer developing eLearning and supporting training material.
Before long, he joined Vivid and says: “It has always been a dream of mine to work in a studio like this. Vivid has been one of those big names that you always keep an eye on and now I’m over the moon to be working here. The number of clients I’ve worked with already is far larger than I could’ve imagined and being in Kelham Island is the cherry on top.”
Callum is 27 years old and has spent all his years living in Sheffield, which he describes as “the greatest city on Earth.”
Outside work, you can find Callum gaming, attending Sheffield United football matches or attempting to learn the guitar and piano. But since being described as the most Yorkshire person someone has ever met, Callum proudly wears a badge of honour.
Callum’s creativity and understanding will be a great asset to Vivid. Welcome to the team Callum!
And now onto welcoming our new Front End Developer, Haris.
With an existing Senior Front End Developer background, Haris joined our team to provide web consultancy and advice for clients.
Travelling in from Leeds, his role focuses on investigating client’s web issues, providing solutions and fixing problems. He describes his role as “challenging, detailed and rewarding.”
But when not in the office, Harris has an interest in sports, current affairs, video games and psychology.
In the short time that Haris has been with our team, we’ve learnt he can solve a rubiks cube in under two minutes!
Haris will be a great addition to the team. And with his favourite meal being pizza, he’ll fit in with pizza nights and agency life.
We’re also pleased to welcome Courtney, our Social and Content Executive, to our ever-growing and friendly team.
Courtney is our newest member of the team and has an organic and content background.
Born and bred in Barnsley, Courtney joined Vivid to expand her skill set, learn more about paid marketing and explore the agency life.
She says: “I’m so excited to be starting this journey with Vivid Creative. They’re a team full of creativity and joy. I’m grateful to have received this opportunity and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and Vivid Creative.”
Outside work, you’ll find Courtney spending time with family, watching Netflix, scrolling endlessly through TikTok or going to theme parks. She says: “Bridgerton season three cannot come quick enough.”
Courtney will make a great impact on the team with knowledge in content creation and social media. Welcome to Vivid Creative!
And last but not least, Dan, who is our Digital Manager here at Vivid.
His role involves overseeing digital projects, managing the daily workload and ensuring that we’re delivering the right solution for our clients.
Dan has management experience and, prior to his current role, he was a junior developer.
Dan said: “I’m excited to see what the future holds for the team at Vivid. We’ve got some great projects in the pipeline and each is an opportunity to learn and grow.”
Outside of work you’ll find Daniel spending time with his family. He said: “I have three wonderful children who are growing up way too fast. I try to enjoy every moment with them.”
Something that you wouldn’t know about Dan, is that he is an excellent roller-skater. Since taking skating lessons in school, he found a hobby that stuck with him for life.
Dan is a great asset to the team and we can’t wait to see what impact he makes. Welcome to the team!
