The Off the Shelf Festival of Words takes place in Sheffield, England during October each year. It is organised by the University of Sheffield with support from Arts Council England, Sheffield Hallam University and several commercial companies. The festival offers a wide range of events for all ages.
Now in our third year of working together, Vivid has refreshed the website with new design updates to suit each year. There has also been a focus on social media, with Vivid creating a suite of creative assets for the team to use across their social media channels. Using short animations to feature artists has helped raise awareness and push ticket sales.
Even throughout the challenges of the global pandemic in 2020, Vivid were able to work closely with the team to take Off the Shelf online for the first time. The festival was a real success with good engagement and some wonderful stories told.
