Direct Mail Campaign for Loop Print.
Loop Print wanted to let agencies know all about their brand new printing technology. It’s
a game changing piece of kit so we needed to create lots of interest with a pre-installation teaser
campaign in the run up to the new press opening event.
The solution was a self promotion mail out based around the theme of Op Art (‘Optical Art’). This
consisted of 5 pieces, each one communicated a creative message about the new capabilities on
press, yet was thought provoking and memorable at the same time.
It just goes to show, anything is possible in design and print these days…thanks to Loop Print for engaging us on this amazing project.
“We were installing a new printing press that was quite a bit different to a conventional printing press. We needed a mailing campaign that would capture the imagination along with demonstrating some of the special finishes we can produce and show some of the special substrates we can print on. What we didn’t want was a clichéd print mailer that blended in with every other print mailer. We contacted Gerry and Jon at Vivid and asked them for their ideas and advice on how we should approach this.
After a brainstorming session, they ‘got it’ and began putting a concept together for us. We were blown away with what they did for us, very ‘out of left field’ and thought provoking which was exactly what we were after for the market we were targeting. Aimed at demonstrating what we can achieve on our new press, the results have been stunning. So far feedback has been superb, but the main thing was that Vivid have conceptualised and designed a campaign that could never be ignored”
